This little guys is one of my “regulars”. I get the pleasure of seeing his precious face every three months. I am always amazed at how quickly a little one grows, especially when I don’t see them for three months at a time! Little man surprised his parents by sitting up for a long stretch on his own at our session….something he had yet to do at home. I’m guessing he’ll be a pro at it in a few more weeks! I can’t wait to see what changes are in store for our next meeting! For now, here’s Mr. M in all his smiling glory. Happy 6 months Mr. M!

This family is so warm and friendly. Just meeting them, you will feel as though you’ve known them forever. We braved the mosquitos a few nights ago for some gorgeous evening light family photos.

Little G was just six days new for his newborn photoshoot. His legs were still curly and he was so sweetly sleepy throughout all of our posing and moving of his tiny self. He was a pro and we were able to get his session complete in less than an hour! That’s unheard of! Congratulations again to G’s mom and dad. He is simply precious!

9 day old baby Rocco was a dream to photograph. He slept the entire session, was totally moveable and moldable and didn’t poop on me at all. It’s always such a smoother experience the closer to birth newborn sessions are scheduled. Parents that are hoping to capture that newborn curly, sleepy baby should plan to have portraits done within the first two weeks of birth. After that, babies start to stretch out, are more wakeful and are starting to develop a startle reflex and are far less flexible and sleepy. The true “newborn” phase is so fleeting. Capture it! You’ll miss it when it’s gone.

This sweet little two week old girl is so very delicate and precious. From her tiny little fingers to her itsy bitsy toes, she has blessed her family who so obviously loves her more than words. I had such a nice morning getting my baby fix and she didn’t even poop on us while we manuevered her with her diaper off! What a little lady.
