Jennifer O'Donnell Photography bio picture

Welcome to my blog.

There are loads of photographers who will capture what you looked like at this point in your life.  I want to capture who you are. Right now. The laughter, the joy, the intimate moments between moments. The way the sunlight dances in your son's sandy blonde hair and the wonder of your daughter's eyelashes. Your husband's arms wrapped tightly around your waist in a loving embrace, your delicate crinkles around your eyes you've earned from all of your laughing. These things that make you who you are...at this moment.  The REAL you.  You are beautiful. You inspire me. Come let me show you.

Miranda :: The Dalles, OR Senior Portrait Photography

Miranda is all sorts of rad.  She’s spunky, vivacious and beautiful both on the inside and the outside.  She’s planning on persuing marketing next year when she attends college.  Our session was so much fun.  We laughed.  A lot.  I adore laughing.

Emily :: The Dalles, OR Senior Portrait Photography

Her soft voice and sweet demeanor made it so comfortable to get to know Emily on our Senior Portrait shoot.  Emily chose to do her photoshoot in tandem with a friend!  It was like a little girl time and photoshoot in one!  Can go wrong with that!  I just love her gorgeous eyes and that...

K.t. :: The Dalles Oregon, High School Senior Photography

K.t is bubbly, happy, talkative, warm and a total extravert.  On top of that, she is polite and kind and has big, bright blue eyes that are a dream to photograph.  I hear she’s a darn good softballer too.    K.t had a headshot session earlier in the Fall in order to make her...

Chelan :: Jennifer O’Donnell Photography, The Dalles Senior Photographer

Chelan is a natural in front of the camera.  Every time I started to direct her, she already moved her arm or head or whatever body part I was wanting to change position into exactly the spot I’d been wanting.  It was freezing cold up in the higher elevations in The Dalles where we did...

Brooke :: Jennifer O’Donnell Photography, The Dalles Oregon Senior Photographer

Brooke is delightful…plain and simple.  She’s zestful about life, has a contagious smile and life and makes you feel good when you’re around her.  I’m thankful she asked me to come to The Dalles to do her senior portraits.  I had a blast!  Congratulations on your senior year!
If you can get 25 comments from friends...

Zach :: Class of 2011 :: Jennifer O’Donnell Photography, Portland Oregon Senior Portraits

Zach has an easy smile and a quiet, friendly personality to go with it.   Our session took place in The Dalles, Oregon amidst the gorgeous fall colored leaves, moss covered stones and brightly painted buildings of downtown The Dalles.  Zach was up for anything and was even game to pose by the trains in the...

Caroline :: Jennifer O’Donnell Photography, Portland Oregon Senior Portraits

Caroline’s session in The Dalles was exciting to say the least!  When we first arrived at her house, her mom told us that we’d be going down the road to a large plot of land that is home to some horses set out to pasture.  The horses don’t get a lot of human contact that...

Katie :: Class of 2011 :: Jennifer O’Donnell Photography, Portland, Oregon Senior Portrait Photography

For Katie’s session, I traveled to the gorgeous city of The Dalles.  We drove around town and found some little location gems and were lucky enough to get our session in between rain showers.  Katie brought a few different changes, her mom and a good friend…all perfect to bring along to a session to make...

Photographer’s Playground :: Jennifer O’Donnell Photography :: Portland Oregon & Vancouver Washington Photographer

I was up in The Dalles in the stunning Columbia River Gorge for a wedding shoot, and on my way home, stopped by to take some photos of these three stunners! I felt like I was in my own little photographer’s playground. Wildflowers, rusty old pickups, tall grasses, orchards…sigh. I could photograph there everyday and...
