Jennifer O'Donnell Photography bio picture

Welcome to my blog.

There are loads of photographers who will capture what you looked like at this point in your life.  I want to capture who you are. Right now. The laughter, the joy, the intimate moments between moments. The way the sunlight dances in your son's sandy blonde hair and the wonder of your daughter's eyelashes. Your husband's arms wrapped tightly around your waist in a loving embrace, your delicate crinkles around your eyes you've earned from all of your laughing. These things that make you who you are...at this moment.  The REAL you.  You are beautiful. You inspire me. Come let me show you.

MaryAnn & Adam, Engaged! Jennifer O’Donnell Photography, Portland Oregon Wedding Photographer

Usually when I book a wedding couple, I shoot the engagement photos several months prior to their wedding date.  In the case of MaryAnn and Adam, this just wasn’t possible.  Adam was deployed until a few days prior to their September wedding.  He was flying in an hour prior to our engagement session!  This was more than just an engagement session…it was a reunion session too!

When MaryAnn called to discuss the feel she’d like from her engagement photos, her first word was “playful” followed shortly by fun.  She wanted to incorporate a baseball and mitt in the photos somehow as well.  We had already chosen an outdoor location that told the story of how they like to hike and spend time outdoors together.  Our time together was full of giggles, kisses and tight squeezes from the newly reunited love birds.  They tossed the baseball back and forth, smooched in the sunset, and held hands as they walked.  It was my honor to be able to capture these moments from them.

Wedding photos coming soon!
