Jennifer O'Donnell Photography bio picture

Welcome to my blog.

There are loads of photographers who will capture what you looked like at this point in your life.  I want to capture who you are. Right now. The laughter, the joy, the intimate moments between moments. The way the sunlight dances in your son's sandy blonde hair and the wonder of your daughter's eyelashes. Your husband's arms wrapped tightly around your waist in a loving embrace, your delicate crinkles around your eyes you've earned from all of your laughing. These things that make you who you are...at this moment.  The REAL you.  You are beautiful. You inspire me. Come let me show you.

Zach :: Class of 2011 :: Jennifer O’Donnell Photography, Portland Oregon Senior Portraits

Zach has an easy smile and a quiet, friendly personality to go with it.   Our session took place in The Dalles, Oregon amidst the gorgeous fall colored leaves, moss covered stones and brightly painted buildings of downtown The Dalles.  Zach was up for anything and was even game to pose by the trains in the...

Caroline :: Jennifer O’Donnell Photography, Portland Oregon Senior Portraits

Caroline’s session in The Dalles was exciting to say the least!  When we first arrived at her house, her mom told us that we’d be going down the road to a large plot of land that is home to some horses set out to pasture.  The horses don’t get a lot of human contact that...

For Katie’s session, I traveled to the gorgeous city of The Dalles.  We drove around town and found some little location gems and were lucky enough to get our session in between rain showers.  Katie brought a few different changes, her mom and a good friend…all perfect to bring along to a session to make...

This beautiful girl is on an exchange program from Korea.  I was immediately impressed with her when we met in downtown Portland for her high school senior portraits.  Her kind soul radiates warmth and happiness to those she meets.  Can’t you see it in her eyes?  Yep, I was one lucky photographer today!

Model Magic, Jennifer O’Donnell Photography, Portland Oregon Headshot Photographer

These two stunning young ladies were so fun to photograph.  We waited for the perfect light out in the field near the Portland Airport, passing the time in front of the Aloft Hotel in Cascade Station.  The light was magical!  See for yourself!

Dancer :: Jennifer O’Donnell Photography :: Portland Oregon Photographer

Brooke is my senior rep for the class of 2011.  Earlier we did her portrait session and this go around, we focused on her dancing.  She’s a phenomenal dancer with such grace.  It was stunningly beautiful to watch her dancing out in the golden sunlight at sunset.  Here are a few of my favorites so...

Holy Wow Batman! :: Jennifer O’Donnell Photography :: Portland Oregon Photographer

I was itching to try out my newest prop addition (the pedal car) and knew just the kiddo to test it out for me.  He brought along his super cool siblings too!

Winter! {Battle Ground, WA Photographer}

I love winter….it’s so beautiful outside with all of the moss and gnarly trees and white bark and dried grass.  No, I’m not kidding.  I love it.  I think it’s beautiful.  See for yourself.

Not Your Ordinary School Photos

Remember getting your school photo back and being all excited only to find out you had a huge eye booger and a cowlick the size of Texas?   Plus, you only got one chance to smile your best smile and try not to make it look fake.  So you practiced your smile in the mirror for...
