I met up with Ann-Marie one cold, crisp, sunshiney day at the always beautiful Multnomah Falls. We hike around all of the nooks and crannies, all the while enjoying the stunning Fall colors. Ann-Marie opted to split her session up into two half sessions; one in the Fall and another in the Spring when the flowers are blooming and the pink buds are glowing on the trees. I am excited to get to photograph her beautiful face again! Here are a few of my favorites from her Fall senior portrait shoot.

Dylan; Camas Washington Class of 2012 Senior Portraits

Dylan is an all around, well-blanaced, good-head-on-his-shoulders, unassuming, nice guy. I enjoyed every minute of our senior portrait session. Dylan is a proud member of his high school’s baseball and football teams. Our hope was to go to the high school ball field (which we did) and then head over to the stadium for some shots on the 50 yard line. Well, wouldn’t you know it, we got there and the 8 foot chain link fence was locked. Hmmm….well, I’m not a girl who is easily thrown off track. You want photos on the 50 yard line where you always play ball? Ok then…. I kicked off my sandles and climbed over the 8 foot fence. Note: climbing chain link fencing in bare feet hurts your toes. Anyway, we got in, we did the photos and I’m happy I did it (even though I cannot say I endorse what I did, cause it was kinda breaking the rules and normally, I am quite the rule follower). HA! But, all’s well that ends well and no turf was hurt in the making of these photos.

Miranda is all sorts of rad. She’s spunky, vivacious and beautiful both on the inside and the outside. She’s planning on persuing marketing next year when she attends college. Our session was so much fun. We laughed. A lot. I adore laughing.

Emily :: The Dalles, OR Senior Portrait Photography

Her soft voice and sweet demeanor made it so comfortable to get to know Emily on our Senior Portrait shoot. Emily chose to do her photoshoot in tandem with a friend! It was like a little girl time and photoshoot in one! Can go wrong with that! I just love her gorgeous eyes and that dimple was killing me with cuteness! It’s almost time for graduation and I know great things are in store for this girl!

K.t is bubbly, happy, talkative, warm and a total extravert. On top of that, she is polite and kind and has big, bright blue eyes that are a dream to photograph. I hear she’s a darn good softballer too. K.t had a headshot session earlier in the Fall in order to make her school’s yearbook deadline, but as soon as the weather got a little nicer we got together again for her full senior session a few weeks ago.

This year has been exciting, filled with many new experiences and many new faces. I am thankful to have met each and every one of you who put yourselves in front of my camera this year and I look forward to seeing you next time, documenting your precious moments. It’s the busy season for all of us; rushing here and there to gather goodies, gifts and loved ones into our homes for our own family celebrations. It’s also a HUGE busy time for photographers while we meet lots of happy families hoping to get some good shots to give as gifts or make holiday cards to send to far away family and friends. It’s a pleasure to get to capture these moments for families during this season. I have been doing lots of mini sessions, family, senior/ headshots, newborns, children and couples sessions this month which has kept me hopping and absent from my normal blogging. In the midst of all of the editing, ordering, snapping, smiling and designing, I wanted to say “hi” and give you a little bit of a glimpse into what I’ve been up to lately. I hope you all have a glorious holiday with those you love and look forward to a new year with you! May 2011 be EVEN BETTER than 2010 for us all!

Chelan is a natural in front of the camera. Every time I started to direct her, she already moved her arm or head or whatever body part I was wanting to change position into exactly the spot I’d been wanting. It was freezing cold up in the higher elevations in The Dalles where we did our shoot, but despite the goosebumps, Chelan rocked it! Congrats on your senior year! I look forward to our second session with the spring flowers!
