Omgoodnes! Are these brothers not the cutest ever? They were so kind to me too. I didn’t get pooped or peed on, they slept for most of the time and let me pose and move them around. And the best part? I get to document their entire first year! I couldn’t be happier!

I am the lucky girl who gets to photograph sweet little Beckett every 3 months for his first year! Seriously….you’re just a smidge jealous, right? He kills me with cuteness every time I look into those big eyes and he bats his illegally long eyelashes. At 3 months old, the smiles just start to really come out and sometimes I can even get a coo or two from the little ones. I like to make the 3rd month photos about the family and the changes that have come about with the addition of this new little life. These sessions tend to be more “lifestyle” portraits, telling a story about life as it is with a new baby and after the newborn stage has really sunken in. Looks like Beckett’s family has adjusted very well. There were loads of little smiles, coos, and kisses. I can’t wait to go back for more this Fall!

Little Beckett is such a little love. He has his mama and daddy wrapped around his teeny tiny little finger. I am so excited to get to photograph Beckett throughout his first year and document his growth! See you in few months Beckett!

Precious Peyton :: Battle Ground WA Newborn Photographer

Little Payton was just 9 days old when we did her newborn photos. At first, she didn’t want to sleep and do those curly posed newborn shots. That was great, because mom and dad always love a good eye contact photo or two! Then I broke out my secret weapon….a blow dryer. The warm air blowing on her delicate skin and the loud whirring of the dryer is hard for a nine day old to resist. She was putty in my hands after that. What a little love.

Jack joined his momma, dad, and two older brothers in this little life 9 days ago. He is peaceful, aware, and has the eyes of an old soul. His brothers love him and have adjusted so sweetly while mom and dad have embraced this life of being outnumbered with grace and happiness. It was my pleasure to get to photograph him while still fresh and new to the world. This phase is so fleeting. Savour it!

I was honored to be asked to come to the Mile High City to photograph little Nicholas at just seven days old. His big sister and brother dote on him and he is loved in ridiculous amounts by his sweet moma and dad. They’ve settled in quickly as a family of five, as if there had been a missing piece of their family puzzle that has now been found. They’re complete.

Here are some things you should know, dear blog readers, about little “G”. He brings much life and warmth to those he’s around. He is very loved, he has a rockin’ nursery filled with eclectic finds including an awesome abbacus wall hanging and blue owl lamp, he has a rad head of hair, and he would much rather stay awake during his debut photo session than sleep through it. Last but not least, I am so lucky I get to document his first year. I’m looking so forward to seeing him grow through my camera lens!

It’s the busy season for all of us; rushing here and there to gather goodies, gifts and loved ones into our homes for our own family celebrations. It’s also a HUGE busy time for photographers while we meet lots of happy families hoping to get some good shots to give as gifts or make holiday cards to send to far away family and friends. It’s a pleasure to get to capture these moments for families during this season. I have been doing lots of mini sessions, family, senior/ headshots, newborns, children and couples sessions this month which has kept me hopping and absent from my normal blogging. In the midst of all of the editing, ordering, snapping, smiling and designing, I wanted to say “hi” and give you a little bit of a glimpse into what I’ve been up to lately. I hope you all have a glorious holiday with those you love and look forward to a new year with you! May 2011 be EVEN BETTER than 2010 for us all!

This family is so warm and friendly. Just meeting them, you will feel as though you’ve known them forever. We braved the mosquitos a few nights ago for some gorgeous evening light family photos.
