Welcome to my blog.

As your photographer, my ultimate goal is to draw out your story, your personality, your individuality and true emotion.  I am not a traditional studio photographer, but rather choose to take a more photojournalistic approach to children and family portraiture, capturing you in the moment - laughing, loving and interacting just as you do every day.  I prefer to stand back and capture life as it happens.  A session with me is never rushed, never uncomfortable, never about seeking a "cheese-face" grin.   What you will get from a session with me is honest emotion - the real you.  Real life.  Pure Joy!

Amy and Shawn have been in a long distance relationship for some time and, thankfully, he was able to come visit on leave.  Tonight was his last night here so we spent the evening snapping photos of them together and with Amy’s daugher to get them through the next long stretch of being apart.  I hope your time together was super special and that the trip back to Kentucky is a smooth one.  Thank you Shawn for being one of the brave that keeps our country free.
