Welcome to my blog.

As your photographer, my ultimate goal is to draw out your story, your personality, your individuality and true emotion.  I am not a traditional studio photographer, but rather choose to take a more photojournalistic approach to children and family portraiture, capturing you in the moment - laughing, loving and interacting just as you do every day.  I prefer to stand back and capture life as it happens.  A session with me is never rushed, never uncomfortable, never about seeking a "cheese-face" grin.   What you will get from a session with me is honest emotion - the real you.  Real life.  Pure Joy!

Yesterday was a stormy day…downpour after downpour, cold wind…just yucky in my book.  Today, we awoke to some morning fog slightly filtering the blue skies.  It made for perfect outdoor lighting for some fall family photos.  Thank you to the C Family for inviting me to their property to take these photos.  You have a beautiful family!  Enjoy your sneak peek!
